Welcome to the Department

The Department of Electronics Engineering started functioning in the year 1998, the milestone year of the institution's establishment. Dedicated to shaping the next generation of technocrats, innovators, and hardware experts, the department has maintained a long-standing reputation for academic rigor and practical excellence.

The department offers a high-quality three-year Diploma programme in Electronics Engineering with a current sanctioned annual intake of 60 students.

This comprehensive curriculum comprises a fair share of extensive practical classes in addition to the core foundational principles taught in theory classes. The program heavily focuses on the study of electronic components, design of electronic circuits, diverse electronic equipments, Digital Electronics, Microcontrollers, Embedded Systems, Modern Communication Systems, PCB Design and fabrication, and Simulation Labs. This balances essential electronic fundamentals with fast-evolving modern tech, ensuring our graduates are completely industry-ready.

The Electronics Association

The cornerstone of our student community is the Electronics Association. Managed collaboratively by student representatives and faculty coordinators, the association serves as the department's engine for technical growth beyond the official curriculum:

• Technova & Symposiums
The association acts as a key driving force behind institutional technical festivals, presenting national-level project exhibitions, line-follower robotics challenges, and circuit debugging competitions.
• Skill Bootcamps
Regular student-led and expert-facilitated workshops focusing on trending domains like the Internet of Things (IoT), Python automation, and 3D printing.
• Career Preparation
Parallel training tracks running in partnership with the institutional Placement Cell to provide mock technical interviews, resume building, and industry networking opportunities.
